CAROLE POMEROY PATRICELLI

Our world lost a beautiful soul on Tuesday, March 15, 2017. Our beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend Carole Pomeroy Patricelli passed peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones after a long battle with cancer/kidney disease/COPD.

Carole was born in Ishpeming, Michigan in 1940 and grew up in Ironton, Minnesota. With her former husband, Joel Hobbs, she had 3 children (Jillanne, 53, and twins, Jodi and Joel, 51).

Her adventurous spirit was filled to the brim when she was able to live in many states all over the country in the 1960s-1970’s, having settled in Kirkland, Washington in 1977.

Carole married her devoted and loving husband, Michael Patricelli in 1992: together they shared 25years of bliss and he was by her side throughout her illness.

One of Carole’s great loves was travel and she enjoyed many trips all over the world in recent decades. Carole had a wide network of cherished friends whom meant the world to her; and they often let her know how special she was to them.

Words often used to describe Carole by friends and family are loving, caring, fun, friendly, always smiling, witty, stylish, special, beautiful, classy, charming, young-at-heart, sophisticated and so many more.

In addition to those named above, she is also survived by her granddaughter Kianne Hobbs (18), brothers Richard and Sally Pomeroy, Robert and Beverly Pomeroy, and sister in-laws Michael and Celine Cimino and Fred and Louise Richardson, as well as many nieces and nephews.

American Memorial, Renton, WA has been entrusted with arrangements.
