April 17, 1938 – April 9, 2022

Clifford LeRoy Greene passed unexpectedly and peacefully in his sleep on April 9, 2022, he was 83 years old. Cliff was born April 17, 1938 in Madison Wisconsin to Leo Ruben Greene and Norma Brown Greene. He moved to Washington State at an early age. As a young man he attended school to obtain his Carpentry Apprenticeship and became a member of the Carpenters Union.

While working in the South Bend, Washington area he met Theodora Jean Slagle, whom he married. They then relocated to Renton, Washington where Clifford become a home builder and they raised their four children, Terry Eugene Greene, Timothy Leroy Greene, Tracy Diane Greene DeWaard and Tylene Jean Greene Boley.

Cliff is proceeded in death by both his parents and Theodora. He is survived by his four children, his two sisters, Elaine Greene Jarvis and Karene (Tina) Greene Phillips, 9 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. There are also many extended family members that he cherished and lovingly called his friends, children, and grandchildren.

Cliff was content to stay close to home, where he always enjoyed the company of close friends and family. His front door was never locked and the coffee pot was always on. He had many interests and projects that always kept him active and busy. He was never short for a story to tell or a project hurdle to discuss.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the neighborhood where Clifford has been a home builder and raised his family for more than 65 years. The Maple Hills Club House (Fire Station) 20505 SE 152nd, Renton Washington on Saturday May 7, 2022 at 11 am.

A luncheon will follow the service.
