Edith Marie Taggart went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the Renton Healthcare Rehabilitation Center. She was 88 years of age.

She was born to William and Nannie Bell Craig on April 15, 1930 in Kintyre, North Dakota. She moved to Washington at the age of 15, where she met and married Garrett DeBoer on August 17, 1946. Together they had two daughters, Linda and Sandra.

She held numerous positions of employment, but her most important was that of a home health care aide where she loved and cared for her patients like family. Her family was her pride and joy. She loved cats, enjoyed reading, gardening and cooking.

She was preceded in death by six brothers; Ray, Earl, Vernon, Roscoe, Lester, and step brother Albert and four sisters; Mabel, Daisy, Rose, and Viola.

She is survived by her sister Loise Mcglachlin of Albany, Oregon, daughters Linda Woodbridge (Peter) of Renton, Sandra Devine (Douglas) of Kent and six grandchildren; Michael, Jeffrey, Stacie, Holly, Shawna and Mark and nine great-grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed until we meet again, but always in our hearts.
