Frances Faye Link

Frances Faye Link was born June 11, 1920 passed on March 11, 2010 at the age of 89. She is that special person you will always remember and never forget. She graduated from Renton High School in 1937; she then met and married Joel Rutherford, owner of the original Rutherford’s XXX Barrel Drive-in restaurants. Together they had 3 daughters; Carol, Jo Ann and Pamela. Joel passed away at an early age of 46. Frances was fortunate to meet and marry another wonderful man, Robert A. Link of Enumclaw. Bob’s daughter Marion completed the family. In 1973 Fran and Bob moved to Crystal Mtn and spent many wonderful fun filled years; while Bob worked as Ski School Director, Fran helped run the Crystal Mtn. Ski Shop. Upon retiring they then moved closer to family in Renton. We will always remember the wonderful times spent playing cards, singing in the “crab-ber-nacle” choir and great week-ends spent up at Crystal with friends and family. The sparkle in Frannie’s eyes were her many grandchildren, great-grand-children and great-great-grandchildren. We’ll miss all the jammies you sewed for us, dinners made and love you shared with all of us. We know you and Dad are dancing the Polka and smiling down on us now. Until we meet again, We Love and Miss You!
