Frank C. Shelton

Frank Chester Shelton (90), passed away July 20, 2010. A long time resident of Renton, he spent his last few years in Monroe near his daughter. Frank served in the Navy during WWII. He was co-owner of Frank’s TV in Renton during the 50’s and then went on to work for Boeing as a computer engineer. Upon retirement from Boeing he taught at Renton Vocational Technical College, and later taught other seniors at the Renton Senior Center how to use computers. He was involved with Renton Area Youth Services (RAYS) and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Renton. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Edna; two daughters, Sharron Arbuckle of Okanogan, WA and Lynn Mead, of Monroe, WA. His surviving siblings are Nancy Lancaster, Twin Falls, ID; Dick Shelton, Boise, ID; Barbara Curry, Kent WA and Peg Nieman, Renton, WA. He had 5 grandsons, 2 great-grand daughters and 1 great-grandson.A memorial service will be held August 28 at 2:00 pm at Renton First United Methodist Church.
