Born August 13, 1935, Gaye left us to be with God on Friday, April 14.

Born and raised in Renton, Gaye touched many lives and was loved by everyone she met. She was a beautiful, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and took great pride in the lives of each of us. She made everyone feel special and lived her life placing others’ needs before her own.

She had a brilliant sense of humor and was a diehard fan of the Huskies, Seahawks, Mariners and even the Sonics. She loved the Sonics so much that until her death she refused to buy certain brands of coffee.

She is survived by many loved ones including her husband Bill and their children Jim, Larry and Steven Holmes, Jane, Patrice and Bill McSherry, her siblings Pete, Karen, and Mary Alice, and their families.

A celebration and memorial of Gaye’s life will be held 12pm, Tuesday, April 25 at St Thomas Episcopal Church, 8398 NE 12th Street, Medina, WA.
