May 26, 1937 – March 21, 2025

Geraldine Rita Mary Warner died on March 21, 2025 while two of her caregivers prayed the Our Father with her. She was born on May 26, 1937 to Fred and Helen Autenrieth in Chicago, IL. She leaves behind three children; Susan Gunn, Mary Rafchiek and Joseph Rafchiek. She was proceeded in death by her husband Mick Warner, ex-husbands Roy Nelson and Frank Rafchiek. She loved her six grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Even to the end she knew all their names and birthdays, which she always celebrated. Geri loved Jesus and served Him through the Catholic Church. She attended Saint Anthony in Renton every day she could. And served in the Legion of Mary and as a Eucharistic Minister. One of her Junior Legion of Mary pupils became Father Bray, in part because of her faithful instruction. Geri worked for the Boeing Radiation and Health Protection group as a Secretary from 1971 to 2006. She was creative. In her younger years she played the drums, sketched, painted and acted in a local drama troupe. Her whole life she was an avid reader until her eye sight failed. She was known by her charity, generosity and kindness. Her family and friends will miss her dearly. She was a blessing to have in our lives.

The celebration of Geraldine Warner’s life will be held on May 2, 2025 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 14601 A St South, Tacoma, WA 98444. The Rosary will be prayed at 9:00 am, followed by Mass at 10:00 am and a reception in the reception hall at 11:00.
