Jane Ann Foster

Jane Ann Foster passed away March 18, 2016 at the age of 75. Jane was born March 20, 1940 in Okanogan, Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Marian (Duff) Thomson and her brother Robert. Jane and Robert were raised in the Renton area. Jane attended Renton schools and Linfield College in Oregon. After college she began working in the airline industry and later went to work for the City of Seattle until she retired. Jane and Robert remained very close until his death in February of this year.

Jane led an active life with special affection for her church, Japanese Baptist Church of Seattle, volunteering at Wolf Haven, activities with P.E.O., traveling with friends, and taking good care of her many beloved cats over the years. Jane was fun to be with and her many friends and relatives will surely miss her great laugh and quick wit.

Many thanks are due to the staff and special residents at Merrill Gardens at Renton Centre where Jane lived for the last 9 years.

A memorial service is planned for Friday May 6, 2016, 2 PM, at Japanese Baptist Church, 160 Broadway, Seattle. Memorial gifts may be made to Wolf Haven, or Japanese Baptist Church of Seattle.
