Jonas was born October 11, 1950 in Tuscaloosa, AL. He passed away on Feb. 27, 2018 at the age of 67 at UW Medical Center in Seattle.

Jonas has resided in Renton, WA since 1990. He spent over 23 years working at the Boeing Company, retiring in 2013. He and his wife, Laura, were happily married for 32 years and enjoyed traveling the world since his retirement. His most proud achievement were his children, Emily and Ben, whom he doted on. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father and role model. Jonas lived and loved fully. He touched many by his kindness, honesty, intelligence, sense of humor and genuine care for others. He will be sorely missed.
