Karen Grass

Karen Grass passed on February 18, 2012 with her sister Kathy at her side. She was visited just hours earlier by her daughter Angela from Ohio and by her husband, Charles, and was sleeping comfortably when they left. Karen had struggled with multiple medical issues for years most recently with reoccurring kidney infections and stones. Recent diagnostics for a kidney procedure revealed tumor masses in several locations that were determined to be an aggressive metastasized cancer. She met and married Charles Grass in 1985 and they had one child, Angela Grass. Karen was instrumental in the growth and management of Charles’ business, Grass CPA, in the Renton Highlands and also had several businesses of her own over the years. Her goal in life was taking care of people and their problems.Karen is survived by her husband Charles Grass, daughter Angela Grass, son-in-law-to-be Roman Denallo, sisters Kathy Miller, Sheryl Heflin, and Stacy Moore, and their families and by her extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws.
