Born Kathy Louise Schwalm to Virginia L. Revelle and Elton J. Schwalm Sr. on January 2, 1953.

Kathy was an energetic character who loved life, lived it to the fullest, and was constantly surrounded by family and friends. She was truly a one-of-a-kind force of nature. Kathy didn’t take any crap. She was also a “give-you-the-shirt-off-her-back” kind of woman who always gave a hand up to those in need.

Kathy’s life was cut unexpectedly short due to complications from the flu. She took her last breath surrounded by four generations of loved ones that are all better people for having known her. She left this life, enveloped in the love of family and friends, at 3:21pm on January 26, 2017.

Kathy is survived by her four children, two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

“Kathy w/a K” will forever live on in the hearts and memories of all who knew her.
