Linda was born on June 25, 1947 in San Diego. She was set free at home, with family by her side, on November 30, 2018. Cancer finally took over her body, but it could never take her spirit. Linda was strong and courageously battled her health issues to the very end without ever complaining or feeling self-pity.
Linda attended Hoover HS in San Diego and graduated from BYU. Linda made her way to Renton in the early 80’s where she made numerous friends. She was married on the shores of the Columbia River by Chief Black Eagle and will rest in peace on the shores of Elliott Bay.
Linda owned and managed Kennydale Realty for 25 years.
She was very active and loved to take road trips, golf, hike, bike, and run, including 2 marathons. She was a long-time member of the Maplewood Womens Golf Club. She loved animals and really enjoyed visiting and dining in her favorite restaurants around Renton.
Linda is survived by her husband, companion, and best friend Glenn Knowle, step daughter Roxanne Knowle (Nate), grandson Ryder, step son Ryan Knowle, brother-in-law Ken Knowle (Sally), mother Doris Rosenberg, sisters, Susie Blanton (Dan), nephews Ian and Mike, Norma Richards (Rich), Kristi Williams (Steve). She was predeceased by her daughter Donica Johnson, father and mother-in-law Dave and Alma Knowle, father Ed Rosenberg, and sister Karen Rosenberg.
Per Linda’s words, “I have lived a great life and the journey was fantastic, and I want everyone to laugh and enjoy each and every day”. I was fortunate and forever grateful to be a part of Linda’s life for 35 years.
Thanks to all our friends and acquaintances for their support, special thoughts, and kindness.
Linda’s wishes were to have her ashes spread over Elliott Bay, alongside her daughter, Donica.
Goodbye Linda…we’ll see you down the road.
