Lois Carmack Ord, died at her daughter’s home on August 11, 2018, unexpectedly. She was 89 years old.

Lois was born on September 20, 1928 in Kent, Washington to her parents George and Ella Carmack. She was a long time resident of Renton, Washington for over 67 years.

She loved her faithful dog and companion of 13 years Bitsy, reading, family and friends.

Ms. Ord is survived by her daughter, Robin Gregoris and son-in-law Larry Best; 4 grandchildren, Cheryl Hoffee, Jannah Furnish, Sammantha Johnson, James Miller; and 6 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brother Richard Carmack; her sister Marlene Sausman; her son Nolan Lange and her daughter Marla Cariveau.

She will always remember her neighbors Sakuntla Prasad, Judi Mitchell and Larry Chrim for their friendship and help.

Services are scheduled for Friday, August 24, 2018, 10am at Marlatt Funeral Home, 713 Central Ave. N, Kent, WA 98032. A graveside service is scheduled at 1pm at Hillcrest Burial Park.
