Lois Lorraine Anderson (formerly White/Sethe) departed peacefully, at age 79, from Alzheimer’s. She was a graceful, optimistic, and strong woman always describing herself as “a tough old Swede!” Lois served as a public elementary school teacher, librarian, media specialist, and principal for 30 years in Issaquah School District.
She grew up on a farm in northern Idaho settled by her Swedish grandparents. She moved to Renton with her husband Roy White. They raised 3 children; Laura, Julie and Bradley. Lois was previously a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church, president of WEACT, and loved playing piano, singing and traveling.
Her interpersonal and people skills were among her greatest strengths and she will be fondly remembered by the many lives she touched and impacted.
