Margaret Ann (Ferry) Neuharth

Margaret Ann (Ferry) Neuharth passed away April 14, 2011 at home surrounded by her family at the age of 79. She was born April 24, 1931 in Rupert, Idaho to

Patrick and Grace Ferry. She graduated in 1952 from (Creighton University) St Catherine’s College of Nursing in Omaha, Nebraska. Married Ralph Rupert Neuharth in 1954 and moved to Pocatello while he studied Aero-Mechanics. A job with Boeing for Ralph had them moving to the Seattle area in 1958. Margaret started work at Renton General Hospital, transfered with them to Valley General Hospital, where she worked as Nursing Supervisor until her retirement in 1988. She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, painting, bird watching, writing poetry and reading. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, in 1997. She is survived by her daughters Brenda Whitney (Jack), Lisa Kearney(Chuck), Carmen Lee(Greg Justin), son Patrick Neuahrth, 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A Rosary was held April 26 followed by a funeral Mass at St. Anthony Chapel in Kent. A private family burial followed at Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Autism Speaks.org
