May 31, 1943 – March 26, 2025

Mary Jane “Bitsy” Buonadonna, age 81, passed away peacefully in her home in Renton, WA on March, 26, 2025. Mary Jane was born May 31, 1943 in San Francisco, CA to Thomas and Freda Lawler. She is survived by her husband Victor, children Philip (Rickey), Thomas (Stephanie), Matthew (Elizabeth), and Daniel (Caroline), and her sisters Kate Pankiewicz and Eileen Reid.

Mary Jane took joy in helping people around her, especially children. After graduation from Seattle University in Nursing, she became a Pediatric Nurse practitioner. She took time out to raise her 4 sons, but once they were grown she picked up her old occupation and did duty as a school nurse in the Kent School District. Here she not only looked after the health of the children, but fostered numerous friendships with the faculty and staff there. When not being a nurse/mom/grandmom, Mary Jane enjoyed walking/hiking/biking the outdoors with her husband and friends or supporting Catholic community charities.

Funeral services will be held at St. James Cathedral in Seattle, WA at Noon on April 14, 2025. She will be buried the following day at Tahoma National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. James Cathedral.

She will be missed.
