Patricia M. Morisch

Patricia M. Morisch passed into the arms of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on August 13, 2008 after a long and deter-mined battle with cancer. Patricia was born March 1, 1942 and was the only daughter of Jim and Nellie Empey who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Morisch; brothers, Jim Empey and Ralph Empey. She is survived by her daughter, Terri Morisch (McPoland) of Liverpool, England, United Kingdom; and sons, David Morisch of Lakebay, WA, and Russell Morisch of Seattle, WA; foster sons, Kevin and Mark Riz-zolo, foster daughter-in-law, Elisa Rizzolo; brothers, Dave Empey of Arlington, WA, Ed Empey of Marysville, WA, and Norm Em-pey of Idylwild, CA. Patricia was the proud grandmother of Jared Paul & Christina Paul of Fayetteville, TN, Eric Morisch of Enid, Oklahoma, Rebecca, Tina and Desmond McPoland, Liverpool England,UK.Pat lived her life fully, never meeting a stranger. Her heart and home was always open to anyone needing a friend. She took after her mother in the art of crocheting and knitting, donating numer-ous articles to charity and hospitals for those in need. One of Pat’s greatest passions was her interest in the U.S. Navy precision flying team, The Blue Angels. She attended every SeaFair show where they performed and made many friends within that special group. Pat especially loved her grandchildren and kept in close contact with all of them around the country and around the world.She enjoyed her trips to Liverpool, United Kingdom to visit her daughter and son-in-law.A celebration of Pat’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Satur-day, September 20 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 19714 106th Ave SE, Renton, WA 98055.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of choice.
