Sylvia Sweet

Mrs. Sylvia Sweet, formerly of Renton, WA, died Wednesday, February 18, 2009, of lung cancer in Albuquerque, NM. She was 63. Born Sylvia Jane Brown, she was a resident of Renton for almost her entire life, where she attended Highlands Elementary and Renton High School.She married Terry Sweet in 1962 and they had one son. Sylvia and Terry built a successful drywall business, T&R Construction, which they ran together until his death in 2004. She had recently relocated to Albuquerque to be near her son, his wife and grandson. She is survived by a son, Travis (Kristine Genovese) and grandson, Marley Terrance, of Albuquerque, NM; and a brother, Glen Brown of San Diego, CA.Always a lady, Sylvia cherished her friends and family, who all relied on her soft spoken, gentle manner. She was there in your time of need, ready with a brilliant smile and kind words.
