Thomas F. Bettis

Thomas F. Bettis, long time resident of and educator in Kent, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2008 at the age of 76.He had been a principal in the Kent School District for many years, including at Springbrook and Fairwood Elementaries. Tom enjoyed a full and exciting life traveling the world with his family and later with wife.Tom is survived by his wife, Deanna Bettis; son and daughter-in-law Michael and Stephanie Bettis; daughter and son-in-law Erica (Bettis) and Steve Couch; along with the light of Tom’s eye, his granddaughter Caitlin Couch.He was deeply loved by each of them and will be truly missed but never forgotten. Interment will be at Tahoma National Cemetary.
