John McLeod knocked a game-winning hit in the bottom of the seventh with two outs to push Liberty past Juanita 2-1 Wednesday.
It was Liberty’s first league game of the season. The Patriots are now 2-1 overall.
McLeod also picked up the win on the mound for Liberty. Keegan Bennett hit a double for the Patriots, who tallied five hits as a team.
