Lindbergh 15, Renton 6
Lindbergh relied on the big inning to win, 15-6 against Renton Wednesday.
The Eagles (5-1 overall, 5-1 league) scored all 15 runs in the second, fourth and sixth innings.
Tommy Kawamura and Blake Gray each went 2-3 with two runs, two RBIs and two steals. Jordan Perry went 2-4 with three runs, one RBI and one steal.
Derrick Hwang picked up the win for Lindbergh by pitching three innings. He allowed two hits, walked four and struck out two.
John Nobis took the loss on the mound for Renton (1-4, 1-4). He allowed nine hits and struck out five in four innings.
K. Billon went 2-3 with two runs. Scott went 2-3 with a run and an RBI for the Indians.
Liberty 12, Interlake 1
Liberty beat up on Interlake Wednesday and won 12-1.
The Patriots (9-2, 8-1) scored in every inning but one in the five-inning game.
Eric Peterson went 3-4 with six RBIs and a homerun. Troy Colyer went 4-4 with four runs. Brian Kim went 2-2 with two RBIs.
Connor Sjolander started the game and picked up his third win of the season.
Liberty remains one game ahead of Bellevue for the KingCo 3A/2A league lead. The Patriots swept two games from the Wolverines earlier this season.
Hazen 5, Highline 4
Hazen took an early lead and held on for the 5-4 win against Highline Wednesday.
The Highlanders (4-3, 4-2) scored all five runs in the first two innings.
Nick Sharp went 2-3 with a run and an RBI. Kyle Nation went 2-4 with two RBIs.
Chase Gordon pitched five innings and earned the win. He allowed six hits and three runs, while striking out two. Bo Worgan pitched two innings, allowed a run and struck out three.
