Boys doubles teams from Lindbergh and Hazen advance to state | Tennis

Four local athletes qualified for the 3A state tennis championships. Lindbergh's boys doubles team of Ulysses Lane and T.J. Bayna placed sixth at districts, while Hazen's boys doubles team of Jack Li and Colin Jones took seventh.

Four local athletes qualified for the 3A state tennis championships.

Lindbergh’s boys doubles team of Ulysses Lane and T.J. Bayna placed sixth at districts, while Hazen’s boys doubles team of Jack Li and Colin Jones took seventh.

Li and Jones will face Jeff Carlson and Cooper Anderson of West Valley in the first round. Lane and Bayna will play Max Franklin and Andrew Smith of Mercer Island.

The state tournament is May 28-29 at the Vancouver Tennis Center.

Sea-King

Liberty’s Thomas Lowes went 1-2 at the Sea-King tournament. He earned sixth and is the second alternate for the state tournament.
