The Hazen Highlanders ran into buzzsaw on Saturday afternoon, falling 56-22 to the Cascade Christian Cougars at Sunset Chev Stadium in Sumner.
Cascade scored early and often, going up 21-0 in the first period and then doubling it in the second. Hazen managed a touchdown and 2-point conversion in the second, making it 42-8 at the half.
Hazen picked up another TD and conversion in the third, but Cascade kept rolling, adding another 14 points for a 56-16 lead.
In the fourth, Hazen scored another 6, but the Cougars, were able to hold on for the 56-22 win.
No individual statistics were available from the game.
Hazen falls to 1-4 overall with the loss and 1-1 in the Seamount. They play the 1-4 Renton Indians Friday at Renton memorial Stadium.
