Jimmy Clausen lasting through the first round of the NFL Draft was shocking to many, but he likely won’t last long in Friday’s second round.
ProFootballTalk.com’s Gregg Rosenthal handicaps where Clausen will end up and the Seattle Seahawks come in at No. 2.
Rosenthal’s ranking seems to be mostly a product of a tweet by Greg Bedard of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, suggesting the Seahawks were close to taking Clausen with the 14th pick. Until safety Earl Thomas was available that is.
Seattle would have to work out a trade because it doesn’t draft again until the 60th pick.
