Members of the Lindbergh Eagles boys swim team made some waves at the 2A state meet this weekend at the King County Aquatic center, swimming to a 14th place team finish and earning several individual trips to the finals.
The Eagles were led by their trio of divers, two of whom placed in the top 16 and the other just missing.
Diver tanner Zornes had the highest finish of the day for the Eagles, earning a fourth-place finish with his score of 323.20. Josh Jordan finished 16th with a 209.95 and Jason Kane just missed the finals, finishing 19th.
Aaron Jacobsen was the top finisher for the Eagles in the water with his fourth-place spot in the 100-yard butterfly at 56.70 seconds.
A.J. Lim also garnered a trip to the podium with his eighth-place time of 2:11.84 in the 200-yard freestyle. Lim also finished ninth in the 100 breaststroke at 1:08.14.
Three relays also earned points for Lindbergh. The 200 medley team of Ravtes Thand, Josh Jordan, Clayton Miller and Spencer Clair finished in 1:57.19 to earn 16th place in the opening event.
In the 200-yard freestyle relay, Clayton Miller, Ben Pogue, Zack Anderson and Jacobsen finished in 1:40.42, good enough for 14th place.
And in the 400-yard freestyle, the team of Jacobsen, Blake Tibbitts, Titus Owen and Clair finished in 3:45.71 for 16th place.
