Led by quarterback Royal Dotson-Goode’s reported six-touchdown performance, the Renton Indians on Friday picked up their first win of the year, beating Clover Park 48-6 at Clover Park.
Following a scoreless first quarter, Renton opened the floodgates int he second with Dotson-Goode scoring four times, from 20, 36, 25 and 3 yards out to take a 26-0 lead before Clover Park was able to answer with a touchdown pass of their own.
The teams headed to the half 26-6.
In the third, Dotson-Goode scored twice more, on 14- and 37-yard runs. He added another 8-yard TD run in the fourth.
Dotson-Goode racked up a total of 298 yards on 26 attempts to get Renton their first win.
The Indians host Steilacoom on Thursday at Renton memorial Stadium.
