Hazen took a big lead and Lindbergh could never come back. The Highlanders won 16-5 Friday.

Hazen (7-6 overall, 7-2 Seamount) scored three runs in the first and nine in the second. Roxanne Paz went 4-4 with a triple, a steal and two RBI’s for Hazen. Britni Bulow went 2-3 with an RBI and three steals. Chelsea Moorhead went 3-3 with a double and three RBI’s. Kellie Pederson and Becca Marcoe also had three RBI’s.

Pederson pitched and earned the win. She allowed six hits and three walks in five innings.

Lindbergh (5-6, 5-6) scored in the final three innings, but it wasn’t enough.

Kasey Sporrong led Lindbergh with three RBI’s. She went 1-3 at the plate and took the loss on the mound.

Lindbergh beat Hazen 14-3 when the two teams met April 14.

Kennedy Catholic 23, Renton 5

Kennedy Catholic moved past Renton 23-5 in a three-inning game Friday.

The Indians (0-9, 0-9) allowed the Lancers to score 15 in the bottom of the first inning.
