Ken Matthews is the new girl’s soccer head coach

Hazen High School has hired Ken Matthews as the new head coach of the girl’s soccer team. Matthews previously spent three seasons as the head coach at Montesano High School. Montesano won it’s league and made the state tournament each of his three seasons.

Drew Oliver is the new football head coach

Current Athletic Coordinator and Special Education teacher Drew Oliver will be the new head football coach at Hazen High School. Oliver previously spent seven years coaching football and wrestling at Newport High School.
