The Hazen girls soccer team stayed on top of the Seamount with a 3-0 win against Highline Thursday night.
The Highlanders (4-0-2 overall, 3-0-1 Seamount) maintain a one-point lead over Kennedy Catholic in the standings.
Hazen led the Pirates 1-0 at the half and outshot Highline nine to zero. Junior Dee Dee Green scored an unassisted goal at the 30-minute mark.
Sophomore Brianne Sherin scored twice in the second half (on assists from Marina Vaughn and Sarah Schoville).
Hazen takes on Foster on Tuesday at home, at 5:30 p.m.
Lindbergh cruises past Tyee
Lindbergh swept past Tyee 8-0 Thursday night.
The Eagles (3-2, 3-1) now stand third in the Seamount standings, first among 2A teams.
Liz Beltran and Audrey Cunningham combined for the shutout. Megan Ohanlon, Mia Ramos, Leanna Sauceda, Jordyn McLuen, Meghan Hansen, Alicia Wasisco and Whitney Hilde scored goals.
Sauceda, Hilde, Hansen and Selena Mullins had assists.
Lindbergh plays Kennedy Catholic Tuesday at home at 7:30 p.m.
Liberty stays hot
Liberty beat Lake Washington 2-1 to claim its fifth straight victory.
The Patriots (5-1, 4-0 KingCo 3A/2A) are tied with Interlake for the league lead.
Cassidy Nangle (assist by Kimi Fry) and Kiana Hafferty (assist by Kali Youngdahl) scored for Liberty.
The Patriots face Mercer Island at home Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
Renton falls to Kennedy Catholic
Kennedy Catholic took out Renton 9-1 Thursday night.
The Indians (1-2-1, 1-2-1) sit in fifth place in the Seamount, second among 2A teams.
Renton plays Foster Thursday at home at 6 p.m.
