In addition to the tie against Kennedy, Hazen has already topped Lindbergh and Highline. That’s a quality start to the season.

Kayla Hackman is leading the team with six goals and an assist. Marina Vaughn has four assists. Brianne Sherin has three goals and one assist.

Priscilla Yu has three shutouts in goal.

Lindbergh

Notes: Lindbergh has some really impressive talent and has played Highline (2-2 tie) and Hazen (1-0 loss) very close.

The Eagles get a good test Tuesday against Kennedy Catholic.

Whitney Hilde has four goals and three assists. Jordyn McLuen has four goals and two assists.

Renton

Notes:Renton is again struggling with numbers this season. The Indians will be hard-pressed to keep up with the league’s top teams this season.

Liberty

Record:4-2, 4-0 KingCo 3A/2A

Notes:After opening non-league losses to Skyline and Issaquah, the Patriots have won four straight league games.

Liberty is doing it with great defense. The team has allowed just two goals in the four league games.

Cassidy Nangle has been the catalyst with five goals. Mollie Cookie has a goal and two assists. Macaire Ament and Jennifer Rucker each have two shutouts.
