The Hazen Highlander tennis team on Thursday rolled over Highline 7-0 to improve to 8-1 overall.
The match was rescheduled from Oct. 7.
David Vaiser won his first singles match 6-2, 6-1, while third singles Dylan Kittay and fourth singles Sohil Shah each beat their opponent 6-0,6-0. Only second singles player Avelyino Vargas ran into a little trouble, dropping the first set before coming back to win the match 2-6, 6-1, 10-7.
In first doubles play, the team of SonLam Nguyen and Justin Nguyen won 6-3, 7-6 (7-3) while the second doubles team of Nathan Nagel and Alan Li won 6-0, 6-0 and the third doubles team of Trevor Skinner and Jay VanderZanden won 6-1, 6-0.
Hazen is now 8-1 overall and 7-1 in the Seamount. They are scheduled to play at Renton tonight and will end their season Wednesday against league-leading Kennedy Catholic at Hazen.
