The Hazen Highlanders girls tennis competed against the Kentlake Falcons on Thursday, April 25 at Hazen High School, and won 4-1.
This is the Highlanders’ 14th win of the season, putting them in first place in the NPSL 4A Varsity Tennis Standings.
During an April 30 match, Hazen went up against Kennedy Catholic and won again. The final score was 4-1 and the match took place at Steve Cox Park in Burien.
The NPSL tennis tournament kicks off today, Friday May 3 at Kent Meridian High School at 11 a.m.
Play will continue for the top eight players in singles and doubles at 9 a.m. on Saturday and the match will take place at Auburn High School for the crossover matches with the Olympic Division.
