With seven seniors on this year’s team and three returning starters, the Hazen Highlander basketball program is hoping to make a run to the Seamount League championship this year.

“Win the Seamount is our first goal,” said Coach Ryan Thompson in an email.

This year, the Highlanders are returning Dominic Greem, a 6-foot-5-inch junior who was an All-League honorable mention last season joins 6-foot-9-inch senior Anthony Phillips and 6-foot-3-inch senior Isaiah Davis as the team’s top returning starters.

Thompson said transfer Connor O’Hearn, seniors Andy Jolly, Adonis Shareef and Justin Takeuchi are all players to watch this season as well.

Hazen finished 7-14 last season with a 5-9 record in the Seamount.
