Renton prevailed 91-88 in a very tight meet against Lindbergh Jan. 21. Over the last six events, the biggest margin between the two teams was three points.

Renton prevailed 91-88 in a very tight meet against Lindbergh Jan. 21.

Over the last six events, the biggest margin between the two teams was three points.

Renton sealed the win with a first-place finish in the 400 freestyle relay. Jacky Tran, Jeremy Odden, Andrew Vu and Steve Sholdra made up the relay team. The group swam a district-qualifying time.

Renton winners:

  • Odden, Tran, Aslan DaVault and Tyler Pascual won the 200 medley relay.
  • Tran won the 200 freestyle
  • Vu won the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke
  • Sholdra won the 50 freestyle and 100 fly
  • Vu, DaVault, Pascual and Sholdra won the 200 freestyle relay
  • Odden won the 100 backstroke

Lindbergh winners:

  • Conor Guhlke won the 100 freestyle
  • Adrian Franco won the 500 freestyle
  • Joey Hatch won the one-meter dive competition
