Jimmy Keum leads Lindbergh past Clover Park, one step closer to title game | State basketball

The Lindbergh boys basketball team kept rolling Thursday, upsetting Clover Park 65-51 in the 2A state basketball tournament. The Eagles (16-12) were led by senior Jimmy Keum, who scored 33 points. Keum scored 19 in the first half as Lindbergh built a 30-22 lead.

Clover Park (21-6) briefly took the lead in the third, but Keum pushed them back in front.

Jequan Hayes scored nine points and Colin Malone added seven.

Lindbergh takes on White River (22-6) Friday at 9 p.m. at the Yakima Valley SunDome for a spot in the state title game Saturday.

Lindbergh lost to White River 48-46 Feb. 10 in the sub-district tournament.
