Just when Liberty looked to be on the comeback trail, Juanita’s Jeremiah Laufasas scampered 59 yards for a score late in the fourth quarter. Juanita held on and won 28-14 Friday night.

The Patriots (3-2 overall, 2-1 KingCo 3A/2A) looked out of sync for much of the game and didn’t pick up a first down on offense until late in the second quarter.

Liberty scored on an eight-yard run by Chandler Jenkins in the second quarter and trailed 14-7 at the half.

The Patriots scored again when Trey Wheeler found Josh Gordon on a 47-yard pass on the fourth quarter.
