Liberty drops two at Surf ‘N Slam Classic | Girls basketball

The Liberty girls basketball team fell twice in non-league action at the Surf ‘N Slam Classic in San Diego.

The Patriots (4-5 overall, 2-1 KingCo) first lost to Miramonte (Orinda, Calif.) Dec. 28, then lost to Woodinville Dec. 29.

Aspen Winegar led the team with nine points against Woodinville, Breanne Faehnrich scored eight.
