After a back-and-forth battle, Liberty topped Hazen 57-54 Tuesday.
The Patriots (4-3 overall, 2-1 KingCo 3A/2A) sprinted out to a 15-8 lead after the first quarter.
Hazen (3-4, 2-3 Seamount) responded and took a one-point lead at the half. The Highlanders led by eight heading into the final quarter before Liberty stormed back to win.
Hazen’s Airshay Rogers led all scorers with 26 points. Gabrielle Redwine added 10 for Hazen.
Liberty’s Dannie Sjolander scored 21. Breanne Faehnrich scored 11.
