Dulin Hayden and Austin Regis each ran for two touchdowns on Friday as the Liberty Patriots raced past the Nathan Hale Raiders 38-0 at the North East Athletic Complex in Seattle to remain undefeated on the season.
Hayden’s first touchdown reportedly came in the first quarter on a 19-run that gave the Patriots a 7-0 lead as the quarter came to an end.
In the second, Hayden again found the end zone on a 13-yard run. One minute later, Myles Heyward picked off a Raiders passing attempt and returned it for a 15-yard pick-six touchdown. Finally, with less than a minute left, Holden Kooiker kicked a 20-yard field goal, adding to his total of five extra points, to give Liberty a 24-0 halftime lead.
The Patriots kept it up int he second half with Regis getting a 3-yard touchdown in the third and following it up with a 4-yard TD run in the fourth.
Liberty’s defense made it stand as Torey Anderson, Isiah Owens and Caleb Carr each also had interceptions during the game.
Liberty is now 5-0 on the season and 3-0 in the KingCo Conference. They travel to West Seattle on Friday.
