The Liberty football team took part in a 7-on-7 against Issaquah and Kentlake July 6 at Liberty.
All three teams rotated, facing each other on offense and defense for 10 plays.
The Patriots went 12-2 last season and fell to Bellevue 23-17 in the state title game. They won the first seven games of the season before losing a tight, 27-21 contest to Bellevue in the regular season. Liberty then won another five straight before the rematch with Bellevue in the title game.
The Patriots averaged 33.36 points per game last season on offense.
Liberty welcomes back key players at the skill positions on offense including seniors Trey Wheeler (quarterback), Chandler Jenkings (running back) and Jake Bainton (wide receiver).
Wheeler passed for 2,178 yards and 28 touchdowns last season. Jenkins rushed for 1,345 yards (8.4 yards per carry), totaled 762 receiving yards and found the end zone 22 times. Bainton caught 58 passes for 923 yards and 12 touchdowns.
