Lindbergh wins sixth straight league game, tied for second in Seamount | Softball

Lindbergh won its sixth straight league game Friday, topping Highline 6-5.

The Eagles (8-4 overall, 8-2 Seamount) are now tied with Highline for second place in the Seamount. Lindbergh and Highline each scored two runs in the first inning. Then the Eagles trailed 4-3 briefly before scoring three runs in the bottom of the fourth to take the lead.

Danielle Danao earned the win on the mound. Paula Farrell went 1-3 with two runs. Maria Cornell went 3-4 with two RBI.

 

Hazen wins twice

Hazen won two straight games, beating Evergreen 11-2 Friday and Foster 10-1 Saturday.

The Highlanders (5-6, 5-6) are now in fifth place in the Seamount, 2.5 games behind Tyee.

Kristina Holm won both games on the mound and is now 5-3 on the season.

Against Evergreen, Holm went 3-5 at the plate. Savannah Hilt, Megan Bridgman and Kelsey Knauss also had multiple hits.

Danielle Martin, Kayli Kniseley, Knauss and Bridgman all had multiple hits against Foster.
