Kennedy Catholic (9-0-0 overall, 8-0-0 Seamount): The Lancers have looked spectacular so far, outscoring opponents 50-3 through nine games. Hazen and Liberty have been the only teams to score on Kennedy.
Rebekah Kurle leads the team with 11 goals. Kurle also has seven assists.
Mount Rainier (6-2-0, 6-2-0): The Rams have lost big just once (7-0 to Kennedy Catholic) and should battle with Highline and Lindbergh for the second spot in the Seamount.
Clarissa Strayer leads the group with 10 goals.
Lindbergh (5-2-1, 5-2-1): The Eagles play Highline tonight for the right to claim third in the Seamount. Lindbergh has Hazen, Mount Rainier and Kennedy Catholic from Oct. 19-Oct. 22.
Elise Aylward has five goals and five assists, while Nicole Burnette has seven goals.
Highline (5-2-1, 5-2-1): Highline has a very important week as it faces Lindbergh and Hazen. The Pirates started the year with a tie and a loss to those two teams.
Kaitlyn Mendoza leads the team with seven goals.
Hazen (4-4-0, 4-3-0): Hazen has a big win against Highline already and bounced back from losses against Mount Rainier and Kennedy to blast Tyee 11-0 Oct. 5.
Kayla Hackman leads the team with 14 goals.
Renton (2-6-0, 2-6-0): The Indians have cruised past Tyee and Evergreen already. The matchup with Foster is important to locking up sixth place. Renton forfeited to the Bulldogs the first time around.
Rose Lindsey leads the team with four goals.
Foster (2-6-0, 2-6-0): The Bulldogs have only scored in one game, but they made it count by going for seven against Evergreen.
Marily Hernandez leads the team with two goals.
Evergreen (1-6-0, 1-6-0): Evergreen has struggled, allowing at least five goals each time out. But after an early forfeit, the Wolverines have had good enough numbers to play each time since.
Tyee (1-7-0, 1-7-0): The Totems are better off than Evergreen since they’ve scored in two games this season.
Caitlin Copenhaver and Dani Woods each have a goal.
Best team:
This honor goes to Kennedy Catholic. The Lancers have outscored league opponents 46-1 and haven’t played a close league game yet.
Best race:
Between Mount Rainier, Lindbergh, Highline and Hazen there should be some very good games down the stretch to iron out the 2-5 spots in the league.
