Peter Stacy’s three wins helps keep Liberty boys track perfect; Girls improve to 5-1 | Track & field

The Liberty boys track and field team improved to 6-0 with a 92-52 win against Eastlake April 20. The Patriot girls won 107-29 to improve to 5-1.

The Liberty boys track and field team improved to 6-0 with a 92-52 win against Eastlake April 20. The Patriot girls won 107-29 to improve to 5-1.

Peter Stacy led Liberty with wins in the shot put, discus and javelin. Joshua Gordon won the high and long jump.

Eric Bice won the 800 meter, while Tyler Westenbroek won the 3,200. Troy Solly took wins in the 110- and 300-meter hurdles.

The team of Jeff Sloat, Daniel Braun, Stephen Ellis and Ian Gelfer won the 4 x 400 relay. Devin Bennett won the triple jump.

Elizabeth Ryker won the 200, while Madison Birdsall won the 400.

Megan Chucka won the 1,600 and Kaily Davies won the 3,200. Emily Pestl-Dimmitt won the 100- and 300-meter hurdles races. She also won the high jump.

Brittain Monroe, Delane Agnew, Birdsall and Ryker won the 4 x 200 relay.

Morgan Safley won the shot put. Christina Huff won the javelin. Danielle Richards won the pole vault and Agnew won the long jump.
