Hazen 12, Tyee 2

The Hazen softball team topped Tyee 12-2 Tuesday.

The Highlanders (3-2 overall, 2-2 Seamount) are in fourth place in the Seamount.

Kristina Holm picked up the win. Savannah Hilt went 4-4. Megan Bridgman and Bella Reid went 3-4.

Liberty 6, Interlake 3

The Liberty softball team beat Interlake 6-3 Tuesday.

The Patriots (3-2, 3-1 KingCo 3A/2A) are in third place in the KingCo 3A/2A behind Juanita and Bellevue.

Denise Blohowiak went 3-5 with a home run and two RBIs for Liberty. Marissa Jeffers went 2-4 and Liza VanCamp went 2-3.

Liberty 5, Interlake 2

The Liberty tennis team beat Interlake 5-2 Tuesday.

Amber Eastham won the girls No. 1 singles 6-4, 6-3. Other singles winners for Liberty were Kristy Braunston and Jenny Adams.

Doubles teams Veronica Granger/Audrey LaFraugh and Annie Trumbull/Michelle Gillespie also picked up wins for the Patriots.

Hazen 7, Tyee 0

The Hazen tennis team shut out Tyee 7-0 Tuesday.

Samantha McCord won in girls singles, 6-2, 7-5. Corbin Kozai won in boys singles by default.

Doubles teams Jennifer Diep/Anastasia Brower, Taylor Gale/Emma Chow, Tony Le/Harriet Aquino, Alan Vu/Brandon Nguyen and Kevin Do/Kyle Chin all won for the Highlanders.

Liberty 247, Mount Si 268

The Liberty golf team beat Mount Si 247, 268 Tuesday.

Rachael Heflin shot a 43 for the Patriots, the lowest score of the day. Molly Culwell shot a 50. Alex DuVall and Rachel Werner each shot a 51.
