The Seattle Rainmakers, who play their home games at Renton Memorial Stadium, will play Saturday for the Major League Ultimate championship.

The Western Conference Champion Rainmakers will play the Boston Whitecaps at 3:30 p.m. in Philadelphia.

In addition, Seattle’s Mark Burton, who led the league in scoring and finished second in goals this year, was named Western Conference MVP this week.

The Rainmakers finished the year at 5-5, good enough for second place in the Western Conference, but on July 12 upset the favored Portland Stags 17-16 in a playoff game in Portland to make their way to Sunday’s championship game.
