About Ben’s Fund
Ben’s Fund was launched in 2012 by Seahawks Executive Vice President/General Manager John Schneider and his wife Traci to provide grants for families supporting a child, or children on the autism spectrum in the state of Washington. Grants can be utilized to cover costs associated with medical bills, therapies and other resources. The intent of establishing Ben’s Fund at Families for Effective Autism Treatment (FEAT) is two-fold: to provide grants to families to help them obtain services for their children on the spectrum, and to drive families to FEAT so they will be connected to a larger community to receive ongoing guidance and assistance as they continue their journey with autism. One in 68 children and one in 42 boys are affected with autism.
