Renton football opens at home tonight against Washington

Lindbergh heads to West Seattle, Hazen opens at Lake Washington.

Are you ready for some high school football?

Believe it or not, the season kicks off tonight with all three local schools taking the field for the first game of the season.

The Renton Indians will get the honor of opening their season at home, taking on Washington at 7 p.m. at Renton Memorial Stadium. Renton finished the 2014 season 5-6 with a 3-3 record in the Seamount.

The Lindbergh Eagles will open on the road against West Seattle. Lindbergh had the best record of all Renton-area teams last season, finishing 6-4 with a 5-1 record in the league.

The Hazen Highlanders begin their season at Lake Washington. Hazen ended 2014 3-6 overall and 3-3 in the Seamount.
