Renton High graduate Dante Calcote will compete with his Eastern Washington teammates locally at the “Showdown on the Sound” Oct. 31 when the Eagles clash with the Portland State Vikings at Qwest Field in Seattle.

Calcote graduated from Renton in 2006. He played in the East-West All-state Game and was first team All-Seamount as a wide receiver and defensive back after his senior season.

He reshirted his first season at EWU and plays cornerback.
