Darrin Briggs led Renton with 23 points. Joseph Powell added 14. D.J. Eubanks scored 12.

Deshea Bell and Mitch Penner each scored 24 for Kennedy.

Mount Rainier 39, Hazen 38

Hazen lost to Mount Rainier 39-38 in a defensive battle Friday night.

The Highlanders (9-6, 5-6) have lost four straight games. Hazen fell behind by 12 points at the half. The team went on a 25-14 run in the second half, but came up short.

Dewit Kasa led Haezn with 11 points. Brandt Graybeal scored 10 points and collected 10 rebounds.

Mount Si 67, Liberty 48

Liberty couldn’t stay with Mount Si and lost 67-48 Friday.

The Patriots (4-11, 1-6 KingCo 3A/2A) trailed 57-33 until a 15-10 advantage in the fourth quarter.

Chandler Jenkins, Kyle Marlow and Farzam Shokri all scored eight points each for Liberty.
