The Renton girls basketball team just couldn’t find its stroke against W.F. West in the 2A state regional round and lost 46-22 Friday.
The Indians (18-7) were held to a season-low 22 points, including just two in the second half. Renton played strong defense in the first half and built a six-point lead heading into the half.
The team struggled to find any rhythm in the second half, scoring just two points in the third quarter and none in the fourth.
Renton went undefeated in Seamount play and won its first league title since 1987.
